Need her Love

Es fines de los 70, la musica disco y el Punk es lo que mas suena en esos momentos. ELO viene de otra vertiente, de una mezcla entre el Rock y la musica clásica, lo que conocemos como Rock Sinfónico. En sus inicios, crearon grandes obras, como On the Third Day de 1973, y Eldorado en 1974.
Pero Jeff Lynne, la mente creativa de ELO, decide que el grupo vaya por una tendencia un poco mas comercial, con canciones mas directas, sin tanto arreglo, pero, no por eso, simples.
Asi llegamos a 1979, donde lanzan Discovery. Aca encontramos una fusión entre la musica disco y las baladas "tipo beatles" que caracterizan a Jeff Lynne.
Resaltan clasicos de una gran difusión, como Shine a little love, Confusion o Midnight blue, Don't Bring me Down. Pero una de las mejores baladas que creó Jeff Lynne, sin dudas, fue Need her Love. Como decia anteriormente, Jeff Lynne tuvo una gran influencia beatle (de hecho, era uno de los grandes amigos de George Harrison y Ringo Starr), y esta canción es una muestra de ello.
