Schizo

Es el año 1978. Cuatro jovenes de la ciudad de Gloucestershire, Inglaterra, se deciden a formar una banda, influidos por la musica de grandes grupo del Rock Progresivo, como Yes, Genesis y Pink Floyd. Nick Barrett (guitarra/voces), Julian Baker (guitarra/voces), Nigel Harris (Bateria) y Stan Cox (bajo) daban vida a Zeus Pendragon.
Al poco tiempo, dejaron de lado el "Zeus", y comenzaron a ser representados por Greg Lines, quien habia sido colaborador de otras bandas emergentes de Gran Bretaña, como U2.
1982 fue un año clave para el grupo, despues de algunos cambios en la formación, comienzan a ser banda de soporte de Marillion. Este acercamiento llevo a la banda a Londres, haciendo presentaciones en el Marquee y algunos festivales. Asi, junto a Marillion, IQ, Arena y UK, se dio inicio a una nueva camada del Rock, que mas tarde seria denominada Movimiento Neo-Progresivo.
El trabajo mas exitoso de Pendragon llego en 1996, con The Masquerade Overture. Este es el décimo trabajo de Pendragon y ve a la banda llegar a niveles de excelencia que demuestran lo extraordinaria que es esta banda. Una propuesta innovadora, con coros operísticos, musica orquestada y Rock de mas alto nivel hacen que "The Masquerade Overture" sea un trabajo atrapante para quien lo escuche. De este trabajo, la canción que mas sobresale es Schizo, que mas adelante saldría en el albúm tributo a Pink Floyd Signs of Life.
